The June 2011 Rx Member of the Month is Dre23! He's a legit powerlifter but his most impressive feat of strength comes from within. Diagnosed with hypothalamic obesity, Dre23 has faced more obstacles than most. Despite these obstacles, Dre23 continues to kick ass both in and out of the gym. As the great Bruce Buffer would say, "it's tiiimmmme." Let's get to know this member and get down to the important questions...
Well it's the last week and the show is within my sight. This was probably the hardest prep I have ever had to go through, outside doing a full keto for the 1st time. I think my first ketogenic diet was so difficult because I was new to the program and to working with Dave. I didn't know what changes Dave was going to make and what was going to happen the final week of my prep. Believe it or not, "not knowing" is the hardest thing for me to deal with. If I know something is coming-- that I have to hammer down and suffer-- then I can do anything. Not knowing it's time to suffer, and then being told you have to suffer is a very difficult thing to do! It's painful and a huge mind-fuck!
Essen, Germany, April 16th.
Held in conjunction with FIBO, the European mega trade show held annually in Germany, the weekend offered - for the first time - a pro women's bodybuilding event as part of the contest festivities along with the men's bodybuilding and women's fitness divisions. Staged at the Colosseum Theatre in Essen, fans of women's bodybuilding were treated to a spirited competition that featured a widely varied contingent of entrants.
A field of 11 contestants entered the affair in what was the first women's pro bodybuilding event on the European continent since the 1998 Ms. Olympia in the Czech Republic, and won by Kim Chizevsky.
WWE Monday Raw was live from Atlanta's Phillips Arena this week
Good Ol JR - Jim Ross is back behind the mic...
The Show opened up with The King Of Kings Triple H talking about his match with the UnderTaker at WM.
He went on to say that for the first time ever, he was nervous for a match especially when the UT came down the ramp to the ring. And he's never been as tired or beat up as his was after the match. He went on to thank the UT and showed a lot of respect for the Deadman, but said if he returns...He will be waiting for him!
This year's WrestleMania card looks to be a barnburner!
Legends, Icons, and Celebrities will all be on show in Atlanta for the granddaddy of all Pay Per Views!
United States Champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
From the looks of it Sheamus is back, and his string of bad luck is over. The Celtic Warrior will win big in this one.
Winner - Sheamus
Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole with special referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Great build up for the match! Look for Austin to keep the peace and insure a Lawler victory
Winner - Jerry The King Lawler
Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes
This one could be a sleeper...This is a defining match for Rhodes. Will he fade into obscurity like his former Legacy Partner Ted DiBiase, or will he triumph over a broken legend in Mysterio? I say Rey wins the match but Rhodes looks like the victor in the end
Winner - Rey Mysterio
Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel and Wade Barrett
The Corre should take this one, but The shear size of The Big Red Machine and The Big Show will be too much to overcome
Winner - Show, Kane, Marella, and Kozlov
John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki vs. Dolph Ziggler and Lay-Cool
The Diva Legend, and the Shamen of Sexy will prevail in this one. Look for Snooki to have some good spots in this match and show up her Jersey Shore Pal J-Woww and prove that she's the better wrestler.
Winner - JoMo. Trish, and Snooki
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk
A great matchup that just seems like it's lost in the shuffle. Punk has played his Heel role to the max in this feud, and Orton has worked the angle perfectly. The Viper goes over in this one
Winner - Randy Orton
World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio
This is a great matchup! The Rated R Superstar vs. The Mexican aristocrat. Christian could have some influence in the match, as will Brodus Clay. But with the push Del Rio has received and how over he is, I see him capturing his first WWE Title
Winner - Alberto Del Rio
The Undertaker vs. Triple H (No Holds barred Match)
This match looks to be a knock out, drag out brawl. Trips is motivated and looks to be in the best shape of his life. The Deadman looks like he's lost a step or two. I see the King of Kings ending the streak and beating the odds for the win!
Winner - Triple H
WWE Champion The Miz vs. John Cena
The Miz is over with the powers that be, and has developed into a great Heel Champion, Cena's battle is elsewhere and his mind seems not to be on the Title. The Rock most definitely will interject himself somehow in the match. The Must See Champion gets the victory in this match.
Winner - The Miz
