As fitness professionals and enthusiasts, working out is as natural as brushing our teeth and tracking our protein intake. When the alarm goes off at 5 a.m., we put on gym clothes and do an inventory of everything in our bag before heading out the door. It is a routine we sometimes take for granted. We become so accustomed to going to the gym, that each workout is based on making gains—completing more reps, lifting more weight, running further and jumping higher. But what if all of these things came to a halt?
Hi RxGirls,
Happy November and Happy Pre-Thanksgiving to you and yours! I know I’ve been a little out of the loop, but here’s a Thanks for Giving workout that will challenge you while you’re celebrating the holiday festivities.
This is an Intermediate Workout, but for all of you!
All we needed was a cup of coffee to make this feel like a regular chat between girlfriends. That would probably be the most realistic way to look at and describe my exclusive one-on-one interview with 4-Time Ms. Figure Olympia Nicole Wilkins in Mississauga, Ontario, at Battle Arts Academy, where she was hosting a full-day seminar with Richie Keirouz owner of RichBody, for new and experienced competitors looking to take to the stage. No topic was off limits, no question went unanswered and no one left the event without a hug from Nicole, a smile and renewed sense of self. If the smile and sigh of relief from Nicole was any indication, I would say that she was pleased with the outcome of the day.
