The latest bodybuilding news by Corey Young
Six weeks out from stepping onstage for the first time in the 2024 contest season, reigning and defending Arnold Classic champion delivered a warning shot to his competition when he released this mind blowing update via Instagram late Saturday night.
Dauda, who drew some attention a few weeks ago when he revealed that he was undergoing treatment for a hamstring injury he suffered during training, doesn’t appear to be showing any ill-effects from his minor setback – and his latest update drew high praise from the bodybuilding community.
“This is wild. I feel like you’re better again” – Fouad Abiad
“…Look forward to seeing you in a few weeks. “ Jon Delarosa
Although he’s faced heavy pressure in recent weeks after several impressive updates from Hadi Choopan, Justin Rodriguez, and Akim Williams, right now Samson seems to be in the driver's seat heading into the home stretch of his Arnold Classic prep and appears to have made significant improvements, once again, despite the quick turnaround time from his 3rd place finish at the 2023 Mr. Olympia.
If he’s able to sustain his momentum with a successful title defense on one of the sport’s biggest stages, for all intents and purposes, it will establish as the odds-on favorite to be the number one challenger to Derek Lunsford’s Olympia crown in the fall, and make good on some of the predictions we’ve heard from previous winners like Phil Heath and Jay Cutler, who’ve both dubbed Samson as a future title holder.
