Aaron Backstage With Ciara Blowers
I first saw Ciara Blowers in Davenport, Iowa at Jack Titone’s Battle of Champions where she won the overall. Even then she had a unique look on stage, with bright eyes and comfortable smile. Here in Chicago at Jr. Nationals, at her first pro qualifier, she has surpassed her previous condition, getting a first callout, and vying for an IFBB pro card.
When I asked Ciara how she got into competing and training she told me, “I was really out of shape and overweight, and I just wanted to change. I changed my whole lifestyle, got into the gym, learned more about nutrition, and eventually went to school for exercise science.”
When talking to Ciara about fitness and competing, I see the same enthusiasm I have about the industry, and when you love something that much, success will undoubtedly follow.
