New for 2013, the BodyPower Expo is proud to present the USN BodyPower Classic
In a giant step towards raising the profile of bodybuilding within the UK, the BodyPower Expo is building upon a long standing relationship with USN, to take competitive amateur bodybuilding to the next level.
USN is a well-established sport nutrition company with a serious, long standing commitment to bodybuilding, making them the perfect partner for an event billed as ‘the best competition of its kind in Europe’. The USN BodyPower Classic will take its position as both a prestigious and unrivalled amateur bodybuilding competition, established to cater for the growing popularity of the sport, as it becomes more widely accepted within the fitness industry.

The USN BodyPower Classic will take to the BodyPower stage on Saturday 18th May and is supported by both the IFBB and the UKBFF. In previous years BodyPower has hosted a UKBFF qualifier, but for 2013 the stakes have been raised to offer amateur bodybuilders a prime opportunity to enter another esteemed competition, in addition to the British Championships held at the SportExpo in October.
The competition will welcome around 100 competitors to compete for a cash prize across 6 different categories; Men’s Over 90kg; Men’s under 90kg; Men’s Physique; Body Fitness; Bikini over 163cm and Bikini under 163cm.
In each male category the prize money is £1000 for 1st place, £500 for 2nd place and £200 for 3rd place. In each female category the prize money is £300 for 1st place, £200 for 2nd place and £100 for 3rd place.
All BodyPower ticket holders will have the opportunity to watch the competition and cheer on the athletes they are there to support. The event will be hosted within an epic theatre setting, located in the main hall, with an impressive stage and screens set up including seating for spectators.
BodyPower organisers have raised the bar considerably this year, by adding a host of new and improved feature areas to the programme, including the SuperGym, the Academy and the Supp Store. As a result the expo is anticipating around 40,000 visitors to make the annual pilgrimage over 17th-19th May and the countdown to the 5th instalment of BodyPower is now officially underway. Amongst the 40,000 strong crowd, will be a large proportion of fitness industry professionals and a string of high profile athletes from the world of bodybuilding, presenting competitors with a fantastic opportunity to raise their profile as an up and coming bodybuilder.
