SinorSlim Recipe of The Week: Sweet-Tooth-Killer-Bites
Let's face it...we ALL get cravings and most of the time overlooking them means anxiety and eating twice as much later! These delicious, healthy and quick "no-bake" treats are a great way to kill your cravings without killing your diet! Made with fresh, all natural and unprocessed ingredients you can safely make batches at a time to store and have ready to go! The goal of a weight loss diet should be not only weight reduction but also reduction of hunger and cravings, thus helping prevent weight regain.
I try to have these pre-workout to take advantage of the slow and steady release of glucose from the honey so my body doesn't use it's stored muscle glycogen as fuel!
INGREDIENTS:
1/2c gluten-free oats
1/4c of coconut flakes
1/2c almond butter
1/3c of honey
1/2c ground flaxseed
1oz raisins
DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix all ingredients into a large bowl and roll into about 15-18 balls
(My batch made 16 balls so each has less than 98 calories)
