Candice Keene Back In Prep: "Keepin The Sanity!"
Hey Guys!
Well, officially just passed the 5 week mark out from the Figure International!!! Crazy how fast it is approaching! With that being said, I feel awesome about where I am at in my prep. I am very happy with how much my body is responding. As I am getting leaner, I am pleasantly surprised to see where I have made my improvements. Excited, Excited!!
So, just how quickly I am approaching the big weekend, my semester is becoming more involved as well. The other day I took out my calendar and wrote in everything coming up, that I can’t detract focus from. I know I had a lot on my plate the next 5 weeks or so, but when I visually saw it, I was like WHOA!! Lol Just in the month of February I have 7 exams, 2 project assignments, 2-3 shoots, various appointments here and there, keeping up with homework, and of course TRAINING & DIALING IN!! So of course my first feeling that came to mind was being overwhelmed, but if I stay focused I will be fine. Staying organized, staying structured and disciplined, and balance everything out..these are the key components that will help me to succeed. But, we all know (or at least me lol) staying organized can often times be easier said than done. Being a full-time student, prepping for a show, and catering to my business..well, lol things can get out of order pretty quick! Things can get chaotic and stressful too. I admit, I am not one of those people that HAS to be tidy and organized all the time lol. But the downside of not being organized can lead to mental frustration, lack of clarity, and a feeling of being overwhelmed. So, my daily mission for the next 4.5 weeks is to create an environment for CK DAILY SANITY! ;-
This will require robotic repetitive behavior. But really though, don’t we do that ANYWAY with our training and dieting!? Yes! But for me I just have to make sure I don’t fall back on ANYTHING! No more of, “Oh, that lecture I can do tomorrow,” or “ehh, I work better under pressure, so I’ll be fine..” Nope! In 4 weeks, I want my stress levels to obsolete! Excellent Inner strength, perfect daily structure, tip-top organizational discipline, good time-management, and practice my daily positive self-worth affirmations..and this girl will be GOLDEN!! :) I look forward battling out these next 4.5 weeks!!! There isn’t anything better in life than CHALLENGES!!!! …And the feeling you get afterward when you climb to the top of those challenge barriers knowing you gave it all you got, and succeeded..PRICELESS!!! :)
I am not worried or over stressing over it though. My preps always seem to replicate this. I always come out strong in the end, and always get it all done! :)
Until next time!!
Xoxo CK

“We choose to go...not because [it is] easy, but because [it is] hard, because that goal will serve to measure and organize the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win.” ~John Fitzgerald Kennedy
