IFBB Bikini Pro Vanessa’s Fit and Fab Blog #23
Hey Hey RxGirls!!!
I hope all of you had a great New Year! I know we did!! My husband and I went to Las Vegas for New Years Eve and what a time we had. :) We only spent two days there but they were jammed packed. We went shopping, had a nice brunch at the Wynn, walked the strip, saw all of the Christmas decorations that were still up, and were able to watch the amazing New Years fireworks show from our strip view room.
We stayed at Mandalay Bay, like we always do, :) and we walked the strip down to the Wynn. Walking is our way of getting in some extra cardio, but I have to say it was super cold out. We found a way to stay warm and out of the gusty winds by gambling a little at the Wynn and having some brunch. I actually really like the Wynn. It is very clean and the air doesn’t smell like smoke. Yuck! I am not a fan of being around smoke. The Wynn even had a mini replica of itself made out of Gingerbread. I guess it is the Las Vegas way of making a gingerbread house. Lol! The display had to have been 3x5 feet and at least 4 foot tall. It was actually quite amazing when you think of how long it must have taken the pastry chef.
After our time at the Wynn we walked across the street to The Fashion Show Mall. We always have a great time shopping in Las Vegas. Any store or style you could possibly want is all on the strip. It actually makes shopping faster too, which I am sure my husband likes. We even saw Chuck Liddell with his lady. I’m sure there were a lot of UFC fighters around since UFC 155 was at the MGM Grand. Anyway back to to goodies, we went to Diesel, Niemen Marcus, Nordstrom’s, Coach, Sur la Table, and of course Lululemon. The best part about our shopping, besides all of the new goodies, we saw a pamphlet at Lulu of one of my fellow Angels and IFBB Bikini Pro Stacey Alexander about her A-Team Training Center. WooWhoo! Go Stacy! I wanted to cruise by because it looked like a blast and say hi, but we didn’t have any extra time. Boo ;(
As the day started to turn to evening we made our way back to our hotel because lots of people were starting to come out. Well, I guess Las Vegas does come alive at night. We have never been in Las Vegas for New Years and it got CRAZY! There were so many people. They shut down Las Vegas Blvd. and everyone was in the street. It actually got so crazy and packed that we decided to watch the New Years firework show from our strip view room. Luckily we were able to fight the crowd and made it up to our room in time. :) It was actually the best view! Eight hotels shot off a 10 minute firework display from their roofs. It was AMAZING!!
Until next time Train HARD!
