What do you feel is the WORST part of contest prep? The worst part is definitely the dieting, I LOVE sweets! I know it's all part of the game, but there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of a cupcake, or brownies, and ice cream…yumm
Would you please tell us a little about your workout schedule? I rotate two upper body days and two lower body days, break one; and cardio five days a week.
If you had to lose one of your 5 senses, which one would you prefer to lose and why? Yikes, ummm…I’m going to have to go with smell. There is really no benefit to stink or even good smells for that matter. There are lots of times where my nose is stuffy but it doesn’t prevent me from anything like not being able to taste, hear, feel, or see something would!
If you could change one things about this sport what would it be? Require bikini to do a quad shake and favorite most muscular.
If you had a time capsule what would you put inside it and why? Bills, my ex, the sweater grandma got me for Christmas last year, my next door neighbors yappy dog, Lady GaGa and every copy of every CD she’s ever made and a time bomb set for 2020…because I really don’t want to dig it back up.
What is your favorite vacation spot? Warm weather and sunshine always has me in a good mood, so definitely the beach; however, I love me some snowboarding!
What advice do you have for women who would like to get involved in and compete in the sport of bodybuilding? Not only do you have to physically be strong, you HAVE to mentally be just as strong if not stronger. And seek the help of a professional, save yourself the time and trouble.
What is a day-in-the-life of Tawna like? Check out my videos here: http://beta.musclenutrition.us/gallery.aspx they do a pretty good job of capturing my day to day life while pre-paring for a contest!
Favorite Motivational Quote: “Success is to be doing what you love, and if you’re doing what you love then you’ve already beat failure.” –Me
In closing, Who would you like to give a shout out to? Thank you so much to my sponsors Muscle Nutrition, my trainer Greg McCoy, my friends and fans, y’all are my motivation, and my family for everything and most importantly, being the best supporters.
