How does your family respond to your competing? My daughters and Aaron are my biggest fans. They are always watching what I eat, asking how many weeks until my next show, and wondering where we’re going to go for our “cheat meal”. The rest of my family is very supportive although they don’t live near me. They all made the trip this year just like in 2010 to be at the Olympia to cheer me on. Anytime I compete nearby where any of them live they are the first in line for tickets.
What kind of goals have you set for yourself, short-term and long-term? My short term goal is to always be “Better than yesterday” It is a motto I strive to live by always. Give more in the gym, continue on my diet 100%, support others who are competing, etc. As for long term; I’d have to say that this year I’d like to get another pro win and to move in to that top 6 at the Olympia. My first year I was 13th and just recently I placed 11th. To be chosen to compete at the Arnold International HAD been a long term goal, but was recently achieved when I received my invite just before Christmas.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of the bodybuilding world? I love college football, being outside and movies. I REALLY enjoy hanging with my 2 daughters. They are 13 & 16 and the coolest chics around. But when we’re not playing XBOX Dance Central, I’d have to say that watching movies is one of my most favorite things to do. I also enjoy doing outdoor things. Hiking, biking, zip-lining, you name it. On a beautiful day I can’t think of anything I’d like to do more than get outside and stay active.
Do you have a favorite exercise? I love doing shoulders. Really ANY exercise for them, but if I had to pick one I’d say shoulder presses.

Favorite Fitness Tip: Proper form is ALWAYS better than more weight. If you aren’t performing the exercise the right way, you aren’t building the intended muscle. Besides, you’re gonna hurt yourself and look silly in the process. J
Who would you like to thank? I would like to thank my coaches at Bombshell Fitness for always pushing me to be my best. Team FMG for guiding me along the way and allowing me to be part of such an awesome group of ladies. Eric Favre Sport for supporting me and having me on their team. My family, for believing in me, always keeping me on track, reminding me I’m always number 1 in their minds and for loving me no matter what. My fans for cheering me on at shows, and for emailing and sending Facebook messages of encouragement.
