What made you begin dedicating your lifestyle to this sport?
In 2000 I was 19 years old, 200 lbs size 16. Found out I was hypoglycemic/borderline diabetic. Also diagnosed w/IBS. Dr said I had to change my ways or I was going to end up a diabetic fast! I met Reno, who got me back into lifting, started researching healthy diets and I lost 60 lbs in about 4 years.
What approach do you take to dieting...carb cycle..keto?
I usually start of low carb but end up on keto. Even in the off season I’m on low carb do to my hypoglycemia.
What is your most embarrassing childhood memory?
Well I was a clutz when I was a kid. Local hospital ER knew me by first name. I can’t tell you how many stitches I received when I was growing up. Too many to remember.
What is the biggest lesson you have learned about YOURSELF during your contest prep?
To not stress out. I struggle with having patience when I’m prepping. When I start stressing it puts stress on my family and myself, which makes prep so much harder. Its getting better with every prep. I also put a lot of pressure on myself to be the best at everything I do.
Who do you look up and admire and why?
My father in law, Robby Bigliazzi. He was taking care of his wife at home who had Alzheimer's for 20+ years. She passed away last August. I can’t imagine how hard that was to do. He never put her in a nursing home and took great care of her. Shows what true love is.

Who would you like to thank?
My husband Reno. He has been behind me 110 % since I started competing. God bless him for putting up with me when I’m not the nicest person in the world as I’m getting close to a show. Don’t know what I would do without him.
