In your opinion, how important is motivation and confidence when aiming to accomplish a goal?
As for me, I really dont need motivation from anyone to be deciplined and dedicated in the sport due to my love for it,  But, confidence is a must in the sport or you will have a hard time succeeding.

In your eyes, what combination of hard work and natural ability is needed to reach the top?
In my eyes, genetics play a very large part on the outcome of the results in the process of sculpting your body.  I consider your genetics to be responsible for your natural ability.  Hard work has to come from the person or no positive results.  I believe all depends on how bad you want to suceed.  For some, this is a hobby and others it is a career.

What are some motivational strategies that have or currently work for you?
As I previously stated, motivation ckim (333x500)omes totally from me.  I do not need a trainer screaming in my ear to get to work or get to the gym, or sticking to my diet.  But, I will go back and look at pics of myself or pics of my favorite athlete (Lenda Murray) when I need a push.

Give me some examples from your life where confidence has helped you to achieve?
I was in a serious car accident many years ago and had several life threatening injuries and that was really the beginning of building the confidence I have now.  I had to learn how to walk again and begin to repair a serious injury to my right arm, or else I would never become a bodybuilder.  I learned to use my exercise regimen to give me strength to heal.  So when I am in the gym or elsewhere and  I begin to feel I can't do something I go back and relive that time in my life and then realize I can conquer anything coming my way.

What are your top 5 key strategies for success?
My key strategy for success is mainly keeping my focus.  And when I stumble in the sport I make myself get back up and start over immediately.  Determination to compete against myself to be a better me the next time out helps to keep me dedicated and focused on my goals.

What is your favorite protein powder? Why do you like it?
I really love to alternate my protein powders throughout the year because I like to use them as tools for what I am trying to achieve.  Like in the off season, I may use one that has a little more sugar content for energy and during competition preparation I will use one with little to no sugar to cut down on excess calories.  The ones I tend to use the most is Isopure, VPX, and Champion Nutrition.  I love the way they mix and taste.

Favorite Inspirational Quote:
My favorite inspirational quote is simple "You get out what you put in".

In closing, Who would you like to give a shout out to?
I would like to give a shout out to Noel Fuller for prepping me for the 2012 Olympia even though we were introduced half way through my prep.  Also Mike Boykins with"God 2 Get 1" (motivational t-shirt designer)  for helping sponsor me for the 2012 Olympia.  I want to say thanks to Melody Spetko, Curtis Winters, Lenda Murray, Stan Dwight, Ivette and Jeff Sheek, Ty Felder, Rashid Shabazz, Jonathan Rowe and my family.  All of these people played some part in me being where I am today and I cant say thanks enough for them believing in me and being there for me..
