If you could change into a superhero for a day who would you be and why?
Wonderwoman. I’m 1000 in just one person..lol...She is the kind of woman I admire..those who struggle for their goals without measuring efforts. We may have everything we want ,just believe in ourselves and go for it with determination and drive.
What made you begin dedicating your lifestyle to this sport?
I've always been an athletic person, did so many sports since childhood.
I began lifting weight at age 15, loved the idea since then to have muscles,be toned. I was fascinated with the muscular girls training hard, eating properly ... unfortunately took me a while to start competing, to be studying, working ...
The first moment I stepped on stage, I knew that was what I really wanted to do with my life.
What approach do you take to dieting...carb cycle..keto?
I believe in a balanced healthy diet, with protein in every meal with carbs and/or fat. Eating clean every 3 hours. Avoid eating crap. Keep it simple !
An important tip I will give for competitor is :Don’t go crazy in the off season!
Just because it’s not a contest prep time does not mean you can eat whatever you want.It is an IMPROVEMMENT season not piggy season ;)
What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about competing?
First of all too many people relate people who train as stupid or having no brain, this is the worst misconception.
Another one is : women don’t lift because they are afraid of being too muscular. Please,It doesn’t exist !!!
Those who trains have better conditioning , less risk of injury by strengthening muscles, an increase in bone density , reduce stress, release endorphins (hormone related to pain and pleasure), elevate metabolic rate and also fat loss.
Give it a try! Live better! Be healthy !
What is the biggest lesson you have learned about YOURSELF during your contest prep?
I could not imagine how strong I am mentally. How focused and determinated.
I always go with passion toward all things I want to accomplish. The secret to get where you want is to love what you do !
Who do you look up to and admire and why?
My parents. They are my everything!
They are such hard workers, kind and spiritual.
They taught me so many things, one of them is when we want anything in life we must fight for it.Always try! Never give up !
I’m so blessed to have them in my life!
