What is your favorite childhood memory? Sailing with my dad. I was fortunate to be born into a family that enjoys travel and outdoor activities. When we vacation, we don’t sit around at the pool all day, we hike, dive and explore. I think my family’s passion for health and outdoors has played a huge part in my drive to stay in shape and to love fitness!
Name a song that motivates you. This month I’m liking ‘Run For Cover’ by Kito & Reija Lee. Though I often attend country concerts more than anything, I love electronic and dubstep to help me get pumped for a tough workout!
What is your biggest gym pet peeve? Guys that spit into towels or on the floor! Ugh!
How do you like to reward yourself? I’m a total sugar lover. I can eat tilapia all day long but nothing makes me happier than ice cream!!! An hour after I walked off stage at my last competition one of my girlfriends had brought me a pint of my favorite ice cream (Salted Oreo, Little Man!). Though my stomach definitely was hurting, it was worth it !
If you could change one thing about the world what would it be? Income Taxes !
What do you do right before you step onstage? I have a habit of ‘shaking it out’ which probably looks like an awful dance move. It makes me laugh and loosens me up.
Nook, Book or Kindle? Book and Kindle! I enjoy the convenience of a Kindle when traveling, but my background is in print and graphic design so I love the feel and even the smell of the printed page.

If someone followed you for the day what would they be most surprised about? How much I talk to myself!
What is your preferred tanning product and why? I freckle easily so I prefer to spray tan at Guiltless Glow in the Highlands (Norvell products) and for competitions I use Show & Tan-I like her color the best! Though nothing beats a real tan, my years of sun bathing have started to catch up with me. Yuck!
