Alexis Rivera Rolon clinched his first ever Olympia birth with a stunning win over Sergio Oliva Jr to take the 2018 Tampa Pro.
RXMuscle's Chris Aceto and John Hansen break down the action from the Sunshine State, a show which saw Nicolas Vullioud take the 212 class, Henri Pierre Ano win Classic Physique, Logan Franklin taking Men's Physique, Melissa Bumstead winning Figure, Lauralie Chapados topping Bikini, Autumn Swansen grabbing 1st in Women's Physique, Alina Popa coming in tops in W-Bodybuilding, and Jennifer Worth topping Fitness.
Rivera Rolon, the 2014 NPC Nationals overall winner, bested a tough group that included the likes of Oliva Jr, Maxx Charles, Justin Rodriguez, and Brad Rowe.
The win for Rolon comes a mere weeks after his 2nd place finish at the Vancouver Pro. Rolon last competed at the Tampa Pro in 2016 where he was narrowly edged out by eventual winner Akim Williams.
