This past weekend at Jr. Nationals in Chicago, I sat in the press pit next to George Farah and Shawn Ray. Between critiquing the competitors and helping Shawn with the play-by-play, Farrah said to me, "That Romano; he hiding behind his keyboard telling lies about me". I can only infer from this statement that he felt like John's recent article, More Carbs + Less Cardio = Fat Ass! . . . was referring to him and his alleged DNP protocols. George seemed none-too-happy with Mr. Romano! George is getting ready to step back onstage himself, for the IFBB Europa- Hartford show, and he was recently showcased in an MD training video. I liked the video and the music in the beginning, but I did find George's workout attire to be highly suspect. Actually, he's essentially wearing what he wears to shows, A super tight t-shirt tucked into jeans (with a belt). George may not be known for his fashion sense, but dude sure is RIPPED for 7 weeks out! Good luck in Connecticut, George!
Mel Chancey had Dennis James in town visiting him during the NPC Jr Nationals weekend. This was the first time I really got to sit down and BS with Dennis. I've been listening to his radio show on Flexonline, and I 
gave him some advice about headsets, and which would suit him best [ed note. Aaron still insists that Skype is best. Jeff the Producer begs to differ]. It turns out this was his last weekend to eat whatever he wanted and do some partying. He started his diet this past Monday. Dieting for what show, you might wonder?... Dennis is putting all of his eggs in one basket and planning on qualifying for the O at the Mr. Europa Pro on Sept. 10-11. I mentioned to Dennis that I plan to be at the show, assuming it happens. He said, "What do you mean, if it happens?" I explained that I hadn't bought my airline ticket yet because with these overseas shows you never know 100% whether or not they're going to happen. Look at how many have been canceled in the last few years alone.... Dubai, Germany, Japan, etc... Hopefully, this show will go on without a hitch, and DJ will re-qualify and I'll get to spend a week in Spain!
Melvin Anthony is rumored to be sitting out of this year's Mr O! He qualified by winning the IFBB Phoenix Pro this past Feb. From rumors on the street, it looks like Melvin will be focusing his time and energy on school. Apparently, he is in the beginning phase of becoming an EMT. Also, while 
we are talking about the Marvelous One... He's got a new chick in his life. Her name is Anny and she owns a restaurant in Toronto.
