I just got off the phone with Lee Priest and his lovely wife Rhaine, and he gave me the scoop on all the drama going on with his supplement company, LPN (Lee Priest Nutrition). Apparently, because of some shady business practices, Lee decided to part ways with his business partner and form a new company--: Assassin Nutrition. The crazy thing is that his old business partner is still selling Lee Priest Nutrition products sans Lee Priest! Lee and Rhaine are currently working to have Lee's image and name stripped from the old line. Incidentally, Jerry Beck of Iron Asylum did all the artwork for the new Assassin Nutrition labels which feature Lee's back tattoo! Lee tells me all systems are still GO for his return to the stage November 6th at the IFBB Sacramento Pro! His diet starts in less than 2 weeks and he's sitting at a lean 225lbs. After the Sacramento Pro he plans to do both the Australian Pro and the new British Grand Prix!
Two weeks ago at the NPC Jr Nationals in Chicago I spent some time talking with IFBB
Trina Liberatore |
Pro Michael Liberatore. If you follow OFF TOPIC Radio you know that Mike recently split from his wife, Trina Liberatore. When I asked him during one of our radio interviews if his wife and he might reconcile at a later date he say, "No way"... but apparently Mike was wrong and there was a "way" after all. As of this writing, I'm happy to report that Mike and Trina are back together. I asked Mike about this latest turn of events and he explained, "We are working things out and trying again." Mike was at the NPC Jr. Nationals supporting his wife as she earned 9th place in an extremely competitive Figure B Class. Trina has great shape and has the trademark Liberatore conditioning... Actually, that conditioning just may have been a little too much for the judges' tastes. If Trina comes in a little softer, I see her winning an IFBB Pro Card very soon!
One quick Lee Priest story... He and I were talking about the often-talked about rumor that Lee enjoys "scat play" or Coprophilia (Coprophilia is defined as, the paraphilia involving sexual pleasure from feces.). He and I postulated that the rumor might have started in a bit of truth. Lee explained that a unnamed women he was dating at the time had given herself an enema in preparation for anal sex. The enema didn't work as planned and instead of avoiding a mess it created a bigger one... Apparently, after Lee had achieved full penetration of her tuchus (yiddish for butt), she, uncontrollably, began defecating on his fully erect "member". Because Lee was enjoying himself so much, he decided not to let a little feces get in the way of a good time and he continued unabated. Things got a bit messy, to say the least, and shit was splattered all over him, her, and the whole shower stall. While the sexual act was "on" nothing mattered but seconds after he orgasmed, Lee said he was "disgusted" with the smell and the mess. Could this possibly be where the scat fetish rumors came from?
Where in the world is Flex Wheeler? My buddy, Mike Zeltzer pointed out that he's MIA in this month's latest issue of Muscular Development magazine. It seems that Flex has been seen less and less, lately, in the pages of MD, at various contests around the country, and even on the MD website. When a thread was started over at the MD forums about Flex being fired, board members and fans posted up to show Flex their support and to ask Steve Blechman to please keep Flex on the payroll. Eventually, Blechman posted (via his secretary Michelle), insisting that Wheeler was still a part of the MD family. But to me-- the casual observer-- it appears that since Flex was cut from the MD radio show (and Shawn Ray took over as the sole host), he's been used less and less press. Is Wheeler on his way out? Is he gone already? When will Shawn Ray make the final announcment?
Jimmy "The Iron Bull" Pellechia is one of my favorite characters that resides within the hallowed walls at RxMuscle.com, but Ed Conners certainly doesn't share my opinion! Ed is the former owner of the Gold's Gym Franchise (as well as Gold's Gym Venice) and is widely
Ed Connors |
known for jump-starting many top bodybuilders' and wrestlers' careers. Ed has had in the neighborhood of 600 houseguests in the past 30 years who stayed with him or in one of his many houses in and around Venice Beach, California. One of his least
favorite guests, however, was our very own Iron Bull! Apparently, Ed allowed Jimmy to stay in one of his condos many years back and after Jimmy left Ed found his house destroyed! Ed claims Jimmy went on a cocaine-fueled rampage and literally destroyed his house doing thousands of dollars in damage in the process! Ed is so upset with Jimmy that he skipped Jimmy Quinn's 50th birthday party because he was concerned he might run into The Bull at the party! Does Jimmy owe Ed some serious cash, or does Ed have this whole story mixed up? Find out Jimmy's side of the story on Friday July 2nd's After Hours with the Whack Pack!
