Why NPC: I love working hard to take care of my body, and feel good about my health. You only get one body, so make it count and treat yourself right.
What do you like best about competing? I love pushing myself, modeling, and I love being on stage. The first experience on stage and behind stage with all the wonderful girls hooked me. They are all inspiring and hard working. Surround yourself with this and it is easy to become this. Life is to short not to be enjoying it and feeling good inside and out.
Competition history: My first show was the Ronnie in 2008. I did well and I got the overall. I did the 2008 Nationals and got top 5. I also did Jr. Nationals in 2009 and that is were I got my pro card. My first pro show was the Phoenix Pro and I placed top 5. Then I had a little health problem, but now I'm all better and ready to rock. Have fun with it because without the happiness what's the point?:)
Next competition: I will be doing the St. Louis Pro the 19th of March. So excited and ready!!!!
Competitors you look up to: Wow! So many are amazing, but my favorites are Heather Mae French, Erin Stern, Nicole Wilkins, and lets face it, all of them! I can think of 100!
Favorite cheat food: Cake, and more cake, donuts, anything with sugar.
Favorite diet food: Salmon, I love fish and I can tear it up.
Favorite body part to train: Legs, I love the feeling of not being able to walk after a workout... You know you earned that meal after that.
Least favorite body part to train: None, I enjoy all. Cardio takes it out of me, but even that is something that I love, knowing I shed some FAT.
Hobbies: I love painting, and making art.. I have been into it since I was a little lady. It helps me release emotion and at the same time I can use my imagination. My favorite artist is Salvador Dali. He is amazing.
Words to live by: Worrying is like a rocking chair, gives you something to do, but gets you nowhere.:)
