Sports background: From a young age I was always into sports I started dancing at 8 years old, mainly ballet and jazz ballet. I also played softball, netball and participated in swimming and calisthenics for several years.
Why NPC: I have previously competed as a amateur with all federations within Australia and was quite successful, however I felt in order to be the best, I needed to compete with the best. I felt that NPC's athletes were a standard above the rest.
What do you like best about competing? I am always learning something new about not only my body but my mental and emotional strength. Competing has allowed me to trust my instinct, not always my mind.

Next competition: I have been prepping for almost a year now, from the Nationals last October, dieting through my wedding and honeymoon in India, the Arnold Classic, followed by the Aussie and NZ Figure Pro shows. I will spend the next month continuing to train hard and eating healthy, however I haven't decided when I will compete next.
Competitors you look up to: Ava Cowan. I met Ava in 2007 during my first year of competing in Miami. I have been following her progress and success since.
Favorite cheat food: Usually it's a grilled in-bone rib eye steak the last few weeks before a show, but my ultimate favorite is spaghetti and meatballs.
Favorite diet food: Ocean Trout or Basa Fish
Favorite body part to train: Shoulders, I usually turn a weakness into a strength. My shoulders are not my best body part, however I love to train them to the point where I can't lift my arms for a few days.
Least favorite body part to train: I can't afford to dislike training a body part. Because I don't train quads, biceps or triceps, it doesn't leave me with much. I make sure I train what I feel like training on the day in order to get the best out of my training.
Hobbies: Cooking- I come from a Greek background so I always love being in the kitchen.
Collecting Indian jewelry- I have always had a facination with the Indian culture and jewelry. I tend to wear something Indian at every show.
Dining out with my husband- We love checking out new restaurants and trying different things.
Traveling- I travel quite a bit, however it's usually for a show. I like taking holidays overseas and going somewhere new and different.
Words to live by: The commitment comes first to my body and soul, learning to listen to them both, not just your mind.
