I tried bodybuilding and immediately knew this was my sport. It really gave made me a sense of satisfaction.
Why NPC: Well to be honest with you, I didn't know much about the different associations for bodybuilders when I started. It's funny on how this all started for me. One day at the gym I waiting for my friend to train with and I was reading this magazine and saw a picture of Monica Brant. I jumped off of the bench I was sitting on so excitedly and said in a firm tone, "I want look like her". He looked at me and smiled and I knew what he was thinking so I never said another word. I just kept it to myself and began training and focused my mind on my new goal. I saw changes in my physique and I wanted more. My idol Iris Kyle has an amazing physique and at the time it was like an unreachable goal. My mind started changing and I wanted to try bodybuilding.
