When I was younger, I did have the opportunity to join the Philadelphia Dance Company..but my heart was too much into gymnastics. In addition, at age 13, I was evaluated and offered a chance to live in Texas so I could train with Bela Karolyi...but....I didn't..and I have absolutely no regrets.
Why NPC: When I first sparked an interest in competing, the only show that was local was the 1996 NPC Blue Thunder. I finished dead last, but always loved to perform and compete.
What do you like best about competing? By nature, I like to challenge myself. Even if it's torture, I like pushing myself as much as possible to reach my goals.

Next competition: I'm getting ready for the NY Pro next week and then I will be competing at the FIBO in Germany the following week.
Competitors you look up to: Adela without a doubt. She's genuinely a sweet person and was able to rise to the top despite not having a gymnastics background. Adela is always pushing herself and her hard work and dedication more than shows. I also LOVE Oksana Grishina. To me, she personifies grace, strength, and individuality. She is one of a kind and cannot be duplicated. Her style is so much more difficult, I truly hope that she gets recognized & rewarded for it!
Favorite cheat food: That's sooooooo easy...does wine count as food? If not, I'll have to say wine, cheese & nuts. Hey, it's hard to narrow it down and I'm salivating now!!!!
Favorite diet food: raw nuts
Favorite body part to train: All of them!! I'd have to say that my back & shoulders are easiest (since they are my stronger areas), but I love them all.
Least favorite body part to train: All of them..again!!! It helps me keep the mindset to push harder.
Hobbies: Spending time with my hubby, reading, and watching MMA,"Family Guy", you name it!
Words to live by: Always trust in God and never lose your faith. HE knows what he is doing. And...never compromise yourself or let anyone pre-determine what you should do.
