About me: I grew up in a tiny village in East Germany. My father was a sports teacher at the local school and I took my first steps on the field.
In elementary school I trained under his guidance, and participated successfully in track & field competitions. My exceptionally good genetic potential was obvious, and so since middle school I trained four times a week. I specialized in javelin and discus throw.
During my high school time, I played basketball, and almost every weekend I have been on the road and traveled the whole country either as a player, or later as a referee.
However, I have always been a single fighter.
A cruciate ligament on my left knee broke the basketball career abruptly and a subsequent hospital stay with the compulsion to inactivity brought a lot of time to think. During this time, my career aspirations grew and in 1995 I began to study sports science at the Faculty of the University of Leipzig (former German College for Physical Culture and Sports, DHFK). I also picked up the athletics training (heptathlon) and supplemented this with regular weight training.
In the meantime, I participated in cycling just for fun. Even when I had success.
Parallel to my studying, I began training at the Institute for Applied Sciences as one of the most recent scientific assistants. I was concerned with measurements of advanced dynamometric Kistler platforms and managed high performance athletes terms of strength training in the javelin and roller - and figure skating. To finance my studies I also worked in a bike shop (repairs and sales) and in the ski and snowboard service and a small fitness center.
Later, I began working as a Fitness instructor in a huge fitness park.
After a very short time I became head coach, established a performance diagnostics area in the gym and was one of the first fitness instructors, a Swiss Certified in Switzerland, and audit expert fitness instructors. I also created a special training performance for the school for aerobics and fitness Zurich (Safs), and also served as a trainer.
Later I got the chance to set up a fitness center that I managed using my care philosophy. In short, I devoted myself entirely to the fitness industry.
I coordinated a job, family and training, and after 3 years of full throttle, I was so burned out that a change in the situation was announced. I found a job as a PE teacher and turned my focus again more on my own training than on other people.
In 2001 I had my daughter Xenia and therefore there was no time for the quite time-consuming training and cycling thus I was left with only the strength training. Since I am always looking for a challenge in a contest, I did this also in bodybuilding. With the receipt of a Pro card a dream became true for me.
Why IFBB: The IFBB (Amateur and Pro) combines the best athletes at the highest level. I like the professionalism of the competitors, organizers and judges. I am proud to be a part of it.
What do you like best about competing? I like to see how the body changes through exercise and diet. I love to show myself on stage and have my posing routine in the limelight. To stand together with the other great women is the best ever!

Favorite cheat food: ice cream, OREO cookies
Favorite diet food: chicken, steak
Favorite body part to train: I like to train every part of my body. I always try to make my weakness my strength.
Hobbies: I love technical stuff like cars. But they must be strong and big cars, like muscle cars and monster trucks. In my spare time I like to read and watch TV.
Together with my husband, I run our own company for food supplements. It calls "Nutrition Technology by Pit Trenz" and is the premium sponsor of the female bodybuilding categorie on the FIBO Power Pro championships in Essen/ Germany in April 2011. I want to do something for the future of female bodybuilding.
For me female bodybuilding defines the total package - it is the symbiosis between femininity and muscles. My idols are Anja Langer and Cory Everson in the past time. In those times before female bodybuilding changed. I think this will be a chance to go back to the roots with a little more muscle and a very feminite presentation.
