What is your favorite contest prep recipe? That's easy - oatmeal pancakes!!!  Whip 3-4 jumbo egg whites with 1/2 c oats, pour into an omlette pan that's been sprayed with butter flavored Pam.  Cook over medium heat until bottom is done (egg whites are just starting to bubble), then flip and cook about 5 minutes more.  When done, spray with butter spray and sprinkle splenda over it.  I LOVE THESE!

What part of your physique are you currently working on?  I'm really working hard to develop my quads right now - more specifically, my quad sweep.  I've always had a much more difficult time bringing my legs up to match my upper body.  It's a constant struggle, but I enjoy the challenge.

Name one piece of nutrition/fitness advice that has stuck with you.  To not rely on the scale for contest prep!  Although it's not a bad to have an idea of where you think you'll end up, your contest prep should be focused on attaining a certain look (or level of conditioning), not a certain weight.

If you could compete in one other event (FBB,physique, figure, fitness, bikini) which would it be and why?  Probably fitness because I was a competitve gymnast from the age of 10, so I think it would be great to be able to show-case those rusty tumbling skills!  : )  I have a lot of respect for those girls knowing how physically demanding those routines are.

Why NPC:  I have always competed NPC beause they put on well-organized shows, and I feel they offer the best opportunities for exposure and advancement (turning pro).

What do you like best about competing?  I like the fact that it's a constant challenge of trying to make improvements in your physique each and every time you hit the stage.  There's always going to be something to work on or improve upon no matter where you place.

What are your goals for the future?  Hopefully getting that IFBB pro card!

Hobbies:  Entertaining my two Australian shepherds - Dash and Scout and I also watch way too much TV!!

What is the biggest lesson you have learned over the years when it comes to competing?   That you only have control over your own training.  It doesn't do any good to get all worried about what everyone else might or might not be doing.  Be confident about what you do and in how you present yourself.

What is your favorite contest prep supplement?  I really love Species Vanilla Peanut Butter Isolyze - I use it all year long!
