How does your family respond to your competing? Well, at the beginning of my bodybuilding career my parents didn’t support me much, but at the moment I have to admit I’m very fortunate in receiving full support of my family and friends in competing in both bodybuilding and powerlifting.
What kind of goals have you set for yourself, short-term and long-term? I just earned a pro card and became Thailand’s first IFBB Pro ever, so my bodybuilding goal is very simple – to prove I can compare with the world’s best athletes and place well at a pro level in the new women’s physique category.
What's currently on your iPod? A wide range of genres. For my cardio sessions I used to listen to hip hop/r&b (Eminem, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull), for my heavy weight lifting sessions some hard metal is a must (Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Fear factory, Machinehead) and for relaxing on the beach or driving a car I like to listen to traditional Thai music.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of the bodybuilding world? Well, I’m not much a party person, in my free time I enjoy relaxing on the beach or by a swimming pool, getting a traditional Thai massage, shopping, cooking, or watching movies….
Do you have a favorite exercise? Squat definitely. Heavy weights, low reps. Powerlifting style.
Competition history:
Thai Nationals 2010 – figure – 1st place
GPC Powerlifting World Championships 2010 (132lbs class) – 1st place
Juliette Bergmann Classic 2011 – figure – 1st place (earned pro-card)
Next competition: Probably New York Pro 2012(women’s physique).
Favorite Fitness Tip: For all the female athletes out there – don’t be afraid of heavy weights! Free weights, heavy loads, low reps. That’s the key to built a great body. Don’t worry, you won’t get bulky
Who would you like to thank? Ms. Olympia Juliette Bergmann for bringing IFBB back to Thailand and giving me the opportunity to compete in the most famous bodybuilding federation in the world. My trainer Max, Jon Shackelford from Westside Barbell for his advice about training and Dave Palumbo.
