Next competition: My next show will be my PRO Debut! My coach Kim Oddo and I are deciding on that now! So excited!!

What do you feel is the WORST part of contest prep? Managing time. You have to find a balance and sometimes its difficult. Also, dropping sodium! UGH!!! I LOVE hot sauce!! Spicy everything!!!

Would you please tell us a little about your workout schedule?

My workout regime consists of teaching Kickfit 4 times a week which incorporates, cardio, abs, and glute workouts. For cardio outside of Kickfit I hit the stairs , go hiking, or on a run with my dogs.

For strength training I focus on targeting two body parts each day.  I love to add in plyos on leg day! .

I take Sundays off to Rest and Recover :)

IMG 1857If you had to lose one of your 5 senses, which one would you prefer to lose and why?  I would say taste. If I couldn’t taste food then I would never be tempted to eat anything sweet again! Ice cream is my weakness.

If you could change one things about this sport what would it be? Hummmm that’s a hard one……I wish they would mix up the order we go on stage.  They usually line us up in alphabetical order.  My last name is Alexander so I am typically always 1st :/  Besides that I don’t think that I would change anything.  I feel that this sport is handled very professionally and that the rewards and experiences that I have gained from each of my competitions have motivated me to keep on competing.

If you had a time capsule what would you put inside it and why? I would put my ipod in . . . what better way to show future generations one of the devices that changed the way a generation communicates. Depending on when the time capsule is unearthed, it would be interesting to see how the ipod evolved or what replaced it. This will also allow me to remember all the music that I loved along with pictures and videos for memories of my family, friends and special moments.

What is your favorite vacation spot? Anywhere there is a beach, great food and music.  Miami South Beach is the place that I seem to visit the most and has the best memories for me as that’s where I just earned my Pro Card!

What advice do you have for women who would like to get involved in and compete in the sport of bodybuilding? It’s never too late to follow your dreams and realize your goals.  Commitment is the key and will make you a winner so work with others who will support you and keep you on track. But most of all, YOU CAN DO IT!  Just believe in yourself.

What is a day-in-the-life of Stacey Alexander like?

8 am - Cook up a healthy breakfast and post it on face book http://www.facebook.com/pages/Stacey-Alexander-Kickfit/105333659537457   I love sharing and helping motivate my followers and friends! I spend the rest of the hour following up with emails and face book questions.

930am- Head to the gym to train my amazing clients

1130am- Meal number 2 then back to training clients

130pm- 30 min cardio session- I prefer to take my dogs running  but if I don’t have time I hit the stairs at the gymIMG 1854

2pm- Meal number 3

230- I work with some competitors on posing. As we all know….. presentation on stage is just as important as your training.

4pm- Time for my weight training session which is followed up with meal number 4

630pm- Time to teach KICKFIT!!! Check it out! www.kickfitlv.com You are guaranteed to fall in love with the class while burning over 900 calories! Each class incorporates upper and lower body toning, cardio, abs, and glute workouts.

8pm- Meal # 5. Some days I head back to the gym to train more clients.  If I have no clients then its time to go grocery shopping.  I like to go shopping every 3 days so I always have fresh food.

930- Do schedule for following day and follow up with clients.

1030pm- Meal # 6- Cook, measure and weigh all of my food for the next 3-4 days. This usually takes me about 2 hours.

1230am- Bed Time! Sometimes it takes me a while to fall asleep….I am always thinking about something.....lol

Favorite Motivational Quote: DSC 3377 IZAVOGJHER

Visualize a Dream, Chase it, and then Live it!

If it was easy, everyone would do it

Abs are made in the kitchen

Fork lifting NOT weight lifting will make you bulky!!

In closing, Who would you like to give a shout out to?

A Big Thank You to RX Muscle for this highlight and my shout out during the 2011 Nationals Bikini wrap up

My Boyfriend and #1 supporter, Trip O’Connell, he has supported my competition journey ever since the beginning.  He has been by my side every step of the way, from last minute touch ups, to seeing me off before I hit the stage, to him cheering me on in the crowd! I don’t know if I could have done it with out him. He even ate the same food as me and never ordered ice cream in front of me lol!!! Thank you for encouraging me and most of all for believing in me.

My Coach, Kim Oddo, who has played a vital and important role in my success of moving to a professional status. Without his guidance, words of encouragement, and motivation I would not have attained my goals of proper nutrition, professional posing, and achieving my winning physique. Kim is truly talented and has such a passion for his work and all of his Angels! Thank you Coach Oddo for always being there for me. I look forward to our professional and successful future together as an Oddo Angel!

Thank you Mytruathlete.com for sponsoring me and believing in me! You guys rock! Be sure to check out their site www.mytruathlete.com for tons of helpful information.

I also want to thank Melting Pot Beauty for the beauty tips for women of mixed ethnicities.  You can check out meltingpotbeauty.com for more information.

I cant thank my family, friends, fans, and all my Oddo’s Angels sisters enough for their support and strength.  It‘s been an amazing experience.  I am so thankful and look forward to having all of you join me this year on my 2012 Pro journey to see what it holds.
