In your opinion, how important is motivation and confidence when aiming to accomplish a goal? Motivation and confidence for me are the most important. Your drive to succeed and work hardest toward your goals is so important. Confidence also is a huge must in this sport. I feel that having the most confidence can help outshine any flaws you might feel you have!! Being a star onstage and giving it your all shows through all your beauty and hard work!!! Positive attitude is always my continuing goal toward any show..
In your eyes, what combination of hard work and natural ability is needed to reach the top? I truly believe hard work and full dedication is the key to success. No dream should be unreachable. If you put your whole heart and soul into achieving your dreams anything is possible. Always aim for the best and believe you can do it. Force the change in your mind and body and you will succeed to the top!!!
What are some motivational strategies that have or currently work for you? I feel for me what has been most motivating is having a role model that you look up to and realize that they aren’t any different than you, if they can do it so can you!! I get up every morning telling myself that no dream or goal is unreachable and fight with my heart and soul to reach my dream of making it to to Olympia stage one day!!
Give me some examples from your life where confidence has helped you to achieve? Confidence has always been one of my hardest things in life. So many times I thought that I wasn’t good enough or couldn’t look my very best..But by working hard and staying strong and believing in myself it has helped tremendously. Being able to get up on stage and feeling like a star always made my confidence grow stronger and stronger every show.. Just believing that you look your very best and deserve to be up there is a huge goal for me. I finally would believe it when people would tell me how amazing I looked. I would take it all in and continue to grow and get better everytime!!! No dream is to big when your confidence is most important..
What do you find the most challenging about competing? I find the most challenging for me is being a mother and wife and staying focused to succeed. Working hard and believing that I can do it. Also very challenging to me is to try and get it right for the stage. Hard to figure out the exact look that the judges want and hope that you will be rewarded for your hard work, conditioning and overall stage presence. I try and stay very positive and believe that all hard work and dedication will shine through and be rewarded one day. Believe that your day will come to win BIG!!!
What are your top 5 key strategies for success? Motivational, Inspirational, Success, Leadership and following your dreams!!!
