If you could change into a superhero for a day who would you be and why?
Superwoman because I've always wanted to be able to fly in an invisible jet and I like her outfit and cape!.. . lol :)

What made you begin dedicating your lifestyle to this sport?
I struggled with food and self esteem issues most of my life. I moved to Florida in 2009 and decided I wanted a change. I

started going to the gym which helped my self esteem and learned about nutrition and how I needed to fuel my body to reach my goals. So I started eating right, working out and learning to "like" myself. I also found my passion in helping others with diets and training.

What approach do you take to dieting...carb cycle..keto?
I am a believer and lover of carbs.  I do believe carb cycling is effective for some, however I always keep high carbs even during show prep or I lose weight and go "flat." Jasmine rice is my best friend, I'm hoping for a sponsor from Uncle Ben's. LOL .  I am not a fan of keto diets, I believe we need more carbs than that diet allows. ..

What is your most embarassing childhood memory?
I was in a school play and was the main character. I got out there and froze. I forgot every single thing I was supposed to say!  I stood there for what felt like an eternity before I started ad libbing. My face was so red I just wanted to jump off stage.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned about YOURSELF during your contest prep?
I am stronger than I think! I have ran into many hurdles and overcome many obstacles through competing, I've pushed harder when I thought couldn't give any more, and keptbikeshoot going when my body said I was done! I've learned my mind is my most powerful tool and how important it is to keep my thoughts positive and also surround myself with positive people.

Who do you look up and admire and why?
I admire Erin Stern because she is such a HARD worker. I watch her training videos and she leaves it all there, cuts no corners and busts her butt. I respect that work ethic and love her physique. She works hard and it shows and it shows!
