For all the fitness and weight loss experts on television, the Internet and in magazines, there are just as many fad diets and no-fail exercises guaranteed to give women the fit body they’ve always desired. The only problem with this fitness and nutrition advice is that the majority of it simply isn’t true. If you’re trying to lose weight, look great and maintain a healthy lifestyle, ignore these five commonly believed yet completely bogus women’s fitness myths.

Getting Started With Narmin Assria-Chapter 1
What’s up everyone Narmin here. Hope everyone’s week is going great. So I just stepped off stage this past weekend in AZ, Desert Muscle Classic Bikini Pro. What an experience, first show of the year for me and I took it by storm. I placed second in the competition and I feel incredible. My coach Kim Oddo and I brought a fuller package to the stage and let me tell you it helped. I’m a very small petite young lady only 5’1 but don’t let the size fool you, when my heels hit that stage I take over.
Strength and Conditioning Applied to Bodybuilding!
Strength and conditioning is a field of study and application that accesses the recommendations or training prescriptions for athletes to better their athletic performance. This so called exercise prescription for the betterment of the athletic performance, if it’s a good program, should always be tailored to fit the needs of the sport and more specifically the position played in that sport, or the athlete as an individual. Now, that being said, bodybuilding is not quite a contact sport or a sport that involves dynamic movements used in a game like setting. This will affect bodybuilding as a sport in terms of training type. However, bodybuilding borrows much of the foundational principles and basics that are also applied to athletes who train for pro and semi pro sports.

Hybrid: Noun: A thing made by combining two different elements; a mixture
Adjective: Of mixed character; composed of mixed parts
Hybrid happens to be one of Kris’s favorite words. To her, it means something different, something better, something no one has even seen or done. The women’s physique category falls into this criteria. In my opinion, women’s physique will be a hybrid of women’s bodybuilding and figure. I am basing this on the top five competitors chosen in their respective classes at the 2011 NPC Nationals. In my opinion, these competitors resembled figure athletes in bodybuilding condition.
