I've known Nikki Roxx for her entire wrestling and fitness career, mostly because I started her in the business. I met her about ten years ago, when she would quietly sit on the bench of Killer Kowalski's pro wrestling dojo taping other student's drills. She'd tag along to post-class dinner and gym with us and I'd found out that she was clearly interested in wrestling. Back then, I put her through grueling ab or glute workouts, which she never once complained about. After admitting she didn't have the money to join the school, I pleaded my case to Walter "Killer" Kowalski (as the only female at the school) that I needed another girl to work with and I asked him to consider her. He said, "Let me think on it." The next day he came in and said, "I thought about it. Yes." She ended up being so good, I asked her to become my tag team partner...and The Killer Babes were born.
What's the deal with women and breast implants? I was at the Arnold Classic last weekend, and I saw a lot of very un-natural looking breasts-too big, too close, too far apart. What's up with that?
While I would like to say that we, as plastic surgeons, get it right every time, that's just not the case. Sometimes what you see is the function of poor planning or poor surgical technique, and sometimes what you see is the result of a patient pushing her surgeon beyond what might be ideal for her body. The result in such cases can be peculiar or even downright disfiguring; and often, fixing the problem is much more difficult than you might think. I'll focus on a few examples of things that I saw last weekend as I wandered the Arnold Expo.
I heard about Figure competitor, Lauren Jacobsen, from her trainer Eric DiLauro at last weekend's IFBB FLEX Pro. When I investigated further, what I discovered was that she's way more than just a pretty face and great physique. She's educated to the max and she's held some pretty impressive jobs in the "real world". On top of all that, she's very good friends with the number one bodybuilder in the world, 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler. Wanna know more? In the following paragraphs, Lauren answers all my inquiring questions without hesitation.
