Hello Rx-ers!
I hope everyone had an Amazing April. April is my birthday month so it is always one of my favorite months ;D I didn’t do much for my birthday, just a gathering of friends for a barbeque. My sister even bought balloons! Yay!!
IFBB Figure Pro Kenyatta Jones-Arietta: Motor City Memories...Thoughts of Going Home
I was raised in Detroit but left when my daughter was two in pursuit of a better life. With the passing of my father and my grandparents with whom I was very close, compacted with the incarceration of my younger brother, my visits back home have been few and far between.

BALANCE. It is a word that I think a lot of us competitors take lightly. We want to be able to have a normal life and be in BEAST MODE 24/7 as a competitor. But that doesn’t seem to always work the way we want it to. One way or another the thing we love the most, that being competing, takes over our lives and we find ourselves unbalanced.

I’m sorry it has been so long since I’ve posted. Life has been extremely busy and I don’t seem as motivated to write when I’m in my off-season. I am currently prepping for my first competition of the season, just seven weeks until the Toronto Pro Supershow.

Hello RX Girls!
I hope everyone is enjoying the competitive season! I can hear the click-clack of clear heels and smell the Jan Tana now. Ahhhh… :)
Get on that stage with DETERMINATION and Poise!!!!
So you are getting ready to compete......you might very well be asking yourself "what was I thinking??" This suit is too tiny, there will be too many people, what if I don't look right, what if I make a mistake.....You are not alone. Everyone has said those very words. I think that it is important to know that every show is a learning experience. You need to relax and have fun showing off all of your hard work!

Dating During Competition Season: Inspired Idea or Crazy Mistake?
Competition season. Not only does it mean diet and cardio, but if you’re single, it means answering the all-important question: To date or not to date? I tell my clients they shouldn’t give up their “normal” lives or dating to compete. But the truth is, some of them aren’t very good at dating in the first place….even in off-season.

Hey RX Girls!
What a month it’s been! On March 16th I competed at the 1st Phorm St Louis Pro Figure promoted by Jack and Ann Titone. The hotel was great, venue was perfect, and the event was really well organized. Needless to say it was the first time I have ever been done a night show before 8pm – amazing!
