The Top 10 Things Michelle Gales Can NOT
Live Without.............
Have you ever sat back and asked yourself if you had to live without 10 things in your life what you could sacrafice? Well in doing so, Michelle came up with the opposite..What she can't live without! Yes, these are the things we reflect on when we have spend hours a day doing cardio and are trying to keep our mind off our next meal!
Trina Travels in a New Direction: MR. SANDMAN BRING ME A DREAM
You have been awake since 4:30am, went to the gym to complete your first round of cardio, return home to get ready for work, work a 10-12+ hour day, return to the gym to finish off the day with your workout and second round of cardio, then eventually make it home to prepare for the following day, and are now lying in bed just counting down the moments until you are finally sound-asleep….OR ARE YOU? How many times have you laid in bed waiting for your subconscious to slow down, allowing your body and mind to relax, and finally letting you get a restful night’s sleep? In reality, you end up lying there, staring at the ceiling, tossing and turning, and thinking to yourself, “If I fall asleep now, I’ll get 6 hours sleep…if I fall asleep now, I’ll get 5 hours and 47 minutes sleep.” Does this sound familiar?
Don’t just get ready - STAY READY!
I flew out of bed this morning and said “honey, please make coffee! – I have to write” A lot of you know the feeling. I was laying in bed thinking of something someone said to me at the gym the other day – and also reevaluating my answer. I have been picking it up a notch lately – but not for any one specific thing. The usual question is “Are you getting ready for a show?” I love this question – for me I take it as a compliment BUT – I am not getting ready for a show.
Heather Grace Gets in the Grove.. Persevering as a Figure Pro..Maintaining Focus
I have never been a “seasonal” competitor or “12week dieter” type of athlete. My contention is that we should always be working toward refinement and improvement- so I train and eat specific to achieve respective goals throughout the year. My diet is typically regimented with 6-7 meals/day and I will adjust carbs/fat/cardio around my goals.

Amanda's Adventure To Her First Pro Show: 4 Days!!!
Only 4 more days until I make my pro debut at the Europa in Dallas Tx, so excited and ready for it to be here! The last couple weeks have been Crazy for me and a bit challenging. A couple weeks ago I sprained my left elbow and the doctor told me I wouldn't be able to lift, or straighten my elbow for at least a week, if I wanted it to heal properly. But of course, knowing me and my stubbornness, Im in the gym the next day doing walking lunges with a 30 pound chain around my neck!! But Hey! I didn't lift or straighten it! It stayed in a sling right where he told me to keep it.
