“Success is never final. Failure is never fatal. It is courage that counts!” WINSTON CHURCHILL.
These are the words that Figure competitor, Tammy Bravomalo has chosen to live by and, as such, speak volumes about her attitude towards life. In fact even when it comes to the business of competing Tammy has a very grounded attitude, having shared with me before this interview that when it comes to competing she never allows herself to become discouraged by a placing, she simply uses each experience as an opportunity to learn and improve on for the next show. And, when you consider that she placed second in her very first show and then followed it up with a first place in the next contest she entered, you can tell she is a very fast learner!
The title of this article is the very best way I can sum up Mercedes Perez…when it comes to the way she approaches her life she sees absolutely no limits to what she can achieve. Her attitude towards life is charged with an intense energy and it appears that when she sets her mind on something that ‘something’ is gonna happen and she won’t quit till it does.
With a roster of successful clients and a very firm hold on the fitness modeling market, Mercedes managed to capture that elusive sponsorship deal (with Optimum/ABB) after her very first competition. Now with her eyes set firmly on the prize of gaining a Pro Card in the bikini division I for
one do not doubt that the next year will see that becoming a reality.
So just who is this woman with the Midas touch?

FMG PRESS RELEASE
December 24, 2010
With the release of the invitations to compete in 2011 Arnold Classic, particularly
the 2011 IFBB Figure International, there were two notable names absent from the invitation list – Heather Mae French & Kristal Richardson. To answer the flood of
questions we’ve received, both Heather Mae French & Kristal Richardson have decided to sit out the competitive year of 2011 & are both eyeing a return to the competitive stage in 2012. Both of them wanted to emphasize they were not retiring & that they will still be involved with the sport in 2011, just not on stage. Considering both of them were coming of two consecutive years of placing third & fourth respectively at the IFBB Figure Olympia, it should provide a unique opportunity for a changing of the guard in the 2011 IFBB Figure International.
“My father was a bodybuilder in the early 50’s. In those days they had no real facilities and had to work out with weights they made themselves from empty cans and cement.” Nora Girones
Now, although Nora knew nothing about her father’s background in bodybuilding until she actually began to compete herself, you have to wonder whether the ‘bodybuilding gene’ was dormant in her system just awaiting an encounter with a gym to be activated. I mean as Nora herself points out it was a definite case of ‘love at first sight’ when she walked through the gym door. From that point onwards there was no holding her back and having made the switch from figure to bodybuilding a few years ago she appears to be making quite a name for herself on the scene.

How to avoid a weeks’ worth of workouts flushed down the drain in approximately one day of weakness.
Did you know that the average person gains FIVE to TWELVE POUNDS between Halloween and Christmas? Yikes!! No thank you! To avoid becoming part of this statistic, I’ve put together a few things you can do to *not* be the average person this holiday season.
While her last name is not Capulet, she still possesses the fantastical “girl-next-door” look and appeal that the fair Juliet in Shakespeare’s most famous work likely hosted and wowed the young Montague with. And although still a relative newcomer to this particular competitive scene, young Julitette Primak is a talent that is aiming to rise to the highest of heights, and nothing is going to slow her down.
