As the 2013 contest season winds to a close we can look back on a year that was jam packed with plenty of excitement, and brought us plenty of surprises as well. In case you missed it, one of the biggest surprises, and brightest young superstars to emerge from the Figure division was none other than Species Nutrition athlete Latorya Watts. After winning her Pro Card at the USA Championships Latorya didn’t waste any time before stepping onstage again when she made her impressive pro debut at the IFBB Tampa Pro.

1. What is your favorite part about competing? What is the most challenging for you?
My favorite part about competing is being on stage presenting my hard work. No part leading up to a show is easy. Diet, cardio, intense training nothing is easy about the 14-week process. To be able to have completed the process successful is being a winner no matter what placing you get.
